Audience
Researchers, scientists and engineers, and scientists in the fields of polymer science, coating technology, adhesion science, materials science, environmental chemistry and industrial applications.
DescriptionPolymer Coatings: Technology and Applications provides an in-depth overview of principles, properties, fabrication strategies, coating formulations, surface engineering, and characterization techniques. It also deliberates various sorts of polymer coatings such as waterborne, antifouling, antimicrobial, curable, self-healable and smart coating technologies. The chapters include coatings for corrosion protection, anti-icing, liquid separation, electrochromic, biomedical, electronic and industrial applications. It explores the applications of coating for consumer and industrial appliances. The book content incorporates industrial applications and fills the gap between exploration works in the lab to viable applications in related ventures.
